About the LINEAR Tabs

Explains the concept of the LINEAR-tabs.

The LINEAR-Tabs in the Revit-Multifunctional Bar with the functions for quick access to basic settings and different tools is the control center for LINEAR Solutions. The functions and tools on the tabs are grouped thematically.

Tab LINEAR

On the tab LINEAR you will find the LINEARSolutions, Administration, Interoperability and Help groups.

The group LINEAR Solutions contains buttons that show/hide the Control Board and the Properties Dialog and open other programs from the software family. The Administration group allows to make basic settings for LINEAR Solutions. In the group Interoperability, function for the cooperation with other programs are offered The Help group provides access to program help, information about new features, the LINEAR Idea Channel for submitting customer requests, and the LINEAR e-Learning Portal. In addition, the group includes the remote maintenance function and the accesses to program information and license dialogs.

Tab LINEAR | Tools

On the LINEAR| Tools tab you will find the Productivity and Quick Access groups.

In the Productivity group, you can easily convert Revit-families from an older Revit-version to the current version as well as parametrize and run collision checks. The group Quick access provides direct access to a selection of frequently used functions.
