Procedure

  1. Optional: Change the text height for the labeling text.
  2. Select a label for the elements to be labeled from the list, e.g. Dimensions.
    Note:

Different predefined labels are available in the different disciplines. You can also use the labels from the LINEAR Analyse modules by selecting the option … Import from LINEAR Analyse.

  3. Make further settings for the labeling. Define, for example, whether a reference line should be generated between the label and the component.
  4. Click Label Components < or Label Objects <.
  5. Select the elements to be labeled in the drawing.
    Note:

If you have selected the option Automatic, you have to select all components to be labeled in the drawing first and confirm this selection with Enter.

When placing labels manually, you can switch between the label types already in use by pressing the up arrow key.

  6. Specify the position of the label in the drawing with the first click.
  7. Then use the position of the cursor to set the alignment of the label.
  8. Click again to confirm the alignment of the label.
