Perform a Silent Installation of Individual LINEAR Solutions Programs

Shows step-by-step how to install individual LINEAR Solutions programs in the background.

  1. Start the Windows command prompt with administrator rights.

  2. In the command prompt, use the cd command to navigate to the folder associated with the installing program (e.g. ...\LINEAR Admin) in the root directory of the installation medium (USB stick or unpacked ZIP file).

  3. Start the Setup.exe file in the command prompt with the start parameter /z "silent" and /L1031 for an installation with a German or /L1033 with an English interface (e.g. <Root>\LINEAR Admin>Setup.exe /z "silent" /L1031).

The program is installed in the background with the corresponding interface language and only the copying process is displayed.
