Details on Overview Ventilation Zones
Information about the dialog Overview ventilation zones in the domestic ventilation concept according to DIN 1946-6
You are here:

General
A ventilation zone is defined as a group of rooms with the same use. In multi-family houses, the individual apartments represent the ventilation zone, in single-family houses it is the entire building. Basically, when a structural level (floor, apartment, part of a building, project) is activated as a ventilation zone, all subordinate, deactivated levels belong to this ventilation zone.
Number
Specifies the number of the ventilation zone.
Name
Specifies the name of the ventilation zone.

Ventilation concept global setting
Opens the dialog Ventilation zone - Global setting where you define the global ventilation concept for all ventilation zones.
Set all rooms to “From zone”
Sets the ventilation concept of the ventilation zone for all rooms.
Ventilation zones
By clicking you have the possibility to copy the contents of the table with or without column heading and paste it into Excel.
If you have selected individual rows or cells, you can copy the selected data with the key combinations Ctrl+C (with column heading) or Ctrl+Shift+C (without column heading) and paste it into Excel, for example.
Column | Description |
---|---|
Ventilation zone | Specifies the ventilation zone. Depending on the selection in the Building data dialog, the ventilation zone can be a project, a part of a building, a storey or an apartment. |
Area | Defines the calculated area of ventilation zone. |
Number of individuals | Specifies the number of persons who use the ventilation zone continuously. The entry of persons is optional. The ventilation calculation for humidity control will be based on a high occupancy if you do not make an entry here. If mechanical ventilation and the Allocate people method have been selected in the configuration for the occupancy of bedrooms, children's rooms and guest rooms, the number of people will be divided among the rooms with these three supply air room types. This ensures the minimum supply air volume flow of 15 m³/h per person. The calculation according to persons only takes effect if the outdoor air volume flow rate calculated according to persons is greater than the volume flow rate calculated according to area. |
only one wind façade | specifies whether the ventilation zone has only one or several facades exposed to wind. The program takes this setting into account when calculating the infiltration volume flow of cross and shaft ventilations. Doing a click on the cell changes the setting. |
Door with seal | Specifies if the interior doors have sealings. If the interior doors have sealings, a larger minimum cross-sectional area is required for the overflow air outlets. Click on the cell to change the setting. |
Exterior windows | Indicates whether a ventilation zone has exterior windows. Ventilation zones without windows will have different minimum and design volume flows. |
room-air dependent fireplace | Indicates whether the ventilation zone contains a room-air dependent fireplace. |
Ventilation Concept | Specifies the ventilation concept of the ventilation zone. Clicking on |
