Details on Supply Water Temperature Dimensioning
Information about the Supply temperature dimensioning dialog of the System preselection.
Calculates the optimum Design supply water temperature based on all relevant parameters.
You are here:

System
Defines for which system the optimal supply water temperature is calculated.
R-value top flooring (F8):
Determines the desired R-value of the top flooring for optimization. If the field for entering the R-value is selected, F8 opens a selection dialog with the surface coverings stored in the master tables and their R-values.
The default value 0.1 m² K/W is standard based.
Results from heat load
Displays the results of the heat load calculation of the selected room. The maximum heat flow density of the respective room is specified, taking into account its target room temperature. Based on the results, the desired supply water temperature can be determined as a function of the desired pipe distance.
Maximum heat flow density
Defines the maximum heat flow density for calculating the optimal supply water temperature of rooms that have not yet been created or rooms without a heat load calculation.
This function is particularly advantageous for the quick dimensioning of systems.
The button opens the Approximate heat load dialog where you can select the approximate heat load depending on the building type.
Room temperature
Defines the room temperature of the selected room.
Differential temperature in occupied zone
Defines the desired differential temperature between the supply and return water temperatures for the occupied zone.
Selected supply water temperature
Shows the result of the calculation of dimensioning of the supply water temperature. Results are always rounded to integers and can be adjusted to the desired project conditions.
