Details on Pipe Tables
Information about the dialog Pipe Tables.
In this dialog, neutral pipe or duct systems are offered under the Custom Manufacturer as well as the systems of the manufacturer you selected in the Manufacturer Selection dialog.
You are here:
Applies to: Heating, Potable water, Waste water and Gas.

Rigid Pipes, Flexible Pipes
Depending on the trade, different tabs and systems with corresponding tables are available.
Manufacturer
The manufacturer User-defined contains neutral systems that can be adjusted and expanded.
If you selected a manufacturer in the dialog Manufacturer Selection, they will also be available here. All manufacturers whose data sets match the trade have been installed and been licensed, are available in the dialog Manufacturer Selection.
System
Defines the system be used. Here you can select all systems that are contained in the selected manufacturer data set.
System Tables
In the upper table, systems from the selected manufacturer are displayed. The systems under User-defined are expandable. To create a new system, click into a free row the system table.
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Activate the field of the system to be used for the pipe network. The selected pipe system will always be used in case pipes have not been explicitly assigned a different pipe material. In the Pipe Run Material and Cellar Material dialogs, you can assign different pipe materials for the pipe runs and pipes in the cellar. You can assign different pipe materials to individual pipe sections in the Pipe Section Data dialogs. |
| Name | The name of the pipe system is used for labeling and in parts lists. The designation of user-defined systems can be customized. |
| Code | When labeling the pipes, you can also output the pipe material (Material). In this case, the abbreviation is used instead of the designation. |
| Roughness | The rougness of the pipe material is used to calculate pressure losses. |
| Color | Determines the color of the pipe. |
Drag Coefficient: (…)
In the potable water trade each pipe system needs a material-dependent drag coefficient table assigned for the fittings. This assignment usually already exists. If the assignment is missing, select a suitable drag coefficient table for the respective material class.

Table of Dimensions
In the lower table, available pipe dimensions of the selected pipe system are shown. The dimensions under User-defined are expandable. To create a new dimension, click in an empty row of the table for Pipe dimensions. Dimensions are automatically sorted by size.
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | Only activated dimensions are considered during calculation. You can specifically exclude certain dimensions from automatic dimensioning by deactivating the field. |
| ND | Shows the available nominal diameters of the pipe. |
| d interior | Interior diameter is used for calculation and dimensioning. |
| d outer | The outer diameter can be output in in the labeling. |
| Indication of Dimension | The dimension designation can be freely selected for user-defined systems and is used in the labeling and in the parts lists. This designation can also be entered in the section labeling. |
| Valve size | Determines the connector size of built in valves. |
