Electrical design in Revit – New e-learning course online
With our new Desktop Electrical e-learning course, we are expanding our range of training courses on the design of electrical installations in Autodesk Revit. The course is aimed at anyone who wants to use Desktop Electrical and its versatile tools efficiently for designing.
Using a practical office building example, you will learn:
How to place, exchange, and precisely align components from the LINEAR library in a targeted manner
How to configure installations in a kitchen, including appliance combinations
How to use the installation line configurator for intelligent placement along doors, edges, and in rooms
How to plan floor boxes and position them optimally in the floor plan
How to insert cable trays, cable ladders, and empty conduits and resolve collision situations by offsetting cables
Thanks to numerous step-by-step demonstrations in the model, you will gain confidence in using the various placement modes, learn about efficient configuration and modification functions, and be able to apply them directly to your own projects.
The courses are available free of charge to all LINEAR customers.
At the beginning of the course, we will show you the libraries with neutral families for your electrical design.
The configurators allow you to quickly and easily create installation lines and frame configurations.
A configurator is also available for floor boxes, and we will demonstrate how to use it during the course.
Powerful commands such as the automatic offset function are available for designing the required electrical routes.
Using a kitchen installation as an example, we will show you the possibilities for placement, alignment, and configuration of all parts and components.
