Perform Pipe Network Calculation of a Pipe Run Scheme
Shows step-by-step how to carry out the pipe network calculation of a line diagram.
Before you begin
You would like to perform the pipe network calculation of a pipe run scheme.
Requirement:
All components required for the corresponding pipe run scheme are available in the scheme (e.g. boiler or gas furnace in a heating pipe run scheme).
Navigate to:
Procedure
- Click Calculate pipe network
in the Toolbar. Note:Clicking this button starts the integrated pipe network calculation including hydraulic balancing and dimensioning of the nominal pipe sizes.
The pipe network calculation (incl. nominal diameter dimensioning and, if necessary, hydraulic balancing) is carried out. - Check whether notes and/or error messages for the pipe network calculation were issued in the Output bar on the Log tab and correct them if necessary.
Results
You have performed the pipe network calculation of the pipe run scheme.
