Details on Configure Zone Types
Information about the Configure Zone Types dialog in the Zoning of the building model.
In Zoning, you have the option of grouping spaces by different zone types. In this dialog, activate these zone types so that they can be selected in the Zoning area in the drop-down list under Areas. You can then assign spaces to these zone types.

Description
Shows the description of the zone type. Double-clicking a field allows you to change the description.
Parameter name
Shows the parameter name of the zone type from the room properties.
Type
Displays the type of zone type. The following zone types are available.
Apartments / zones and building section: These zone types are predefined with a corresponding description.
Parameters: This parameter type is available for all text parameters of spaces. You can use Revit to create your own text parameters for spaces to be able to use them for zoning.
Key: If you define further zone types via key lists for spaces with the associated parameters, these are listed here with the type Key.
