Edit …

The command is available in sections Flow Paths, Pipe Sections and Ventilated through. First, select the item in the table and click on Edit …. The dialog for editing drainage element, pipe section or ventilation duct section is opened.

Edit <

The command is available in sections Pipe Section, and Ventilated by. After clicking Edit <, select the item in the drawing. The dialog for editing pipe sections is opened.

Comp. Edit <

The command is available in section Ventilated by. After clicking on Comp.-Edit <, select the component in the drawing. The dialog for editing the component is opened.

Table for Flow Paths

This table shows the calculation data for all flow paths of the selected system. It provides an overview over all ending components of the network. If you select a flow path, the table Pipe Sections displays all corresponding pipe sections. The most unfavorable flow path is highlighted in a different color. You can also select the most unfavorable flow path by pressing U.

Table for Pipe Sections

The table by default shows the calculation data of all pipe sections included in the selected flow path. In the enlarged state, all pipe sections of the entire system are displayed. If you select a pipe section, the table Ventilated through Pipe Section(s) displays all corresponding ventilation pipe sections.

Apply Pipe Section Data Globally

Opens the dialog Define Pipe Sections. This command allows you to assign or reset certain properties of selected or all pipe sections at the same time.

Unlock / Lock Pipe Sections

This command allows you to fix or unfix the dimensions of all pipe sections. If values are displayed in bold in theDN column, the dimension of the respective pipe sections will not be adjusted during the calculation. This is sensible when calculating existing systems. If the dimensions of some pipe sections have been fixed already, you will be asked whether to fix or unfix all pipe sections.

Generate 3D Pipes

Allows the assignment of pipe materials from the 3D Piping module after the calculation of a single-line pipe - network. After successful assignment, a three-dimensional pipe network is generated. Pre-assigned insulation material is considered. This process requires a license for the LINEAR 3D Design Pipe&Power module.

Note:

Make a backup copy of your drawing before having the 1-line pipe network converted to 3D.

The result of 3D generation may vary depending on which pipe material was chosen. It may occur that calculated nominal pipe sizes are not available for the selected 3D pipe material. This can lead to deviating results or open ends when calculating the 3D pipe network.
