Copying and Pasting Storeys
Shows step-by-step how to create copies of storeys.
Before you begin
You would like to copy a storey with its contents and add it to the building structure.
Requirement:
The storey to be copied with its contents is created.

With this procedure you can also create copies of building parts, apartments and rooms.
Procedure
- In the Building structure, right-click the storey you would like to copy and select Copy from the context menu.
- Select the project level in the Building structure and click Insert in the context menu that appears. Note:
You can also copy and paste elements of the building structure with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V or use drag-and-drop.
The Floor Data Dialog of the New Storey opens.
- If necessary, activate the Change Floor FL and/or Change Ceiling CE checkboxes and enter the desired values. Note:
For all calculation methods based on EN 12831-1 (2017), the rooms are automatically linked and entries in this dialog are not required.
- Confirm your entries with OK or leave the dialog with Ignore if no values are to be changed. A copy of the storey with modified floor and/or ceiling/roof area data, if any, is added to the building structure.
Results
You have created a copy of the storey.
