Placing a Component in AutoCAD
Shows step-by-step how to place a component from LINEAR CAD Browser in AutoCAD.
Before you begin
You have found the desired component and possibly configured it. Now you would like to place the component in your drawing.
Requirement:
You opened your project in AutoCAD with the desired view.
Navigate to:
Procedure
- Click Place.
AutoCAD is activated and you can place the loaded component.
- Place the component in AutoCAD as desired and press ESC to exit the command.
LINEAR CAD Browser is activated again.
Note: When inserting multi-part components (e.g. split heat pumps), after inserting an element in AutoCAD, the LINEAR CAD Browser automatically switches to the element of the component that is still to be installed.
Results
You have placed the component on the corresponding position.
