Setting Location and Wind Data

Shows step-by-step how to set location and wind data for your project.

Before you begin

You want to select the project location with the corresponding wind data to correctly determine ventilation requirements.

Navigate to:

Module Overview ➤ Ventilation ➤ Project Level ➤ Domestic Ventilation Project

Procedure

In the Location, Position area, activate the option Wind data using location selection.

Tip: If the data set for your project location does not contain any wind data, you can deactivate the option Wind data using location at this point and activate the correct wind situation manually.
Open the Locations dialog by clicking on Location Selection ....
Select the country where the project site is located from the drop-down list.
In the Search field, type the name of your project location or its postal code and press Enter.
Select the desired location and close the dialog by clicking OK.

Results

The project location with the corresponding wind data is selected and is taken into account in the calculation.
