Optimizing the Dimensioning for a Room

Shows step-by-step how to optimize the dimensioning of a room.

Before you begin

You wish to optimize the design of a room, because the completed design is not ideal or because parameters have been changed.

In the example, the general procedure is shown using the Laying Spacing Optimization (VA + SP). You can carry out the procedure equally well with the Differential Temperature Optimization (SP) and Circuit Number Optimizing (KA + VA + SP).

Requirement:

The design of a room is not ideal.

Navigate to:

Module Overview ➤ Radiant Heating/Radiant Cooling ➤ Room Level

Radiant Heating Room LINEAR Building

Procedure

Click on Optimize in the symbol bar.

The following context menu opens.
Select the desired optimization function.

Results

You have optimized the room’s dimensioning.
