Perform a Silent Installation of All LINEAR Solutions Programs
Shows step-by-step how to install all supplied LINEAR Solutions programs automatically in the background.
Before you begin
You want to install all the programs of your LINEAR Solutions supplied in the background without having to intervene manually.
Note: The LINEAR CADinside program cannot currently be installed using a silent installation.
Requirement:
You have received your installation medium (USB stick or ZIP file) and have access to the medium.
Tip:
If you only have a .linupdater file available, this can be opened and unpacked with a ZIP program after changing the file extension to .zip.
Navigate to:
Procedure
- Start the Windows command prompt with administrator rights.
- In the command prompt, use the cd command to navigate to the Setup folder in the root directory of the installation medium (USB stick or unpacked ZIP file).
- Start the file Setup.exe in the command prompt with the start parameter /s. Note: If you have started the command prompt without administrator rights, an additional prompt will appear which must be pressed to start the copying process and the subsequent installation.
Results
All supplied programs are automatically installed one after the other. Only the copy process is displayed.
