Details on Configuration - 3D Electric Cable Trays

Information about the 3D Electric Cable Trays tab in the LINEARconfiguration.

Here you can make presettings for drawing 3D cable ducts.

You are here:

Configuration 3D Electric cable trays

Cable duct

Specifies the relevant dimensions for the cable duct.

Section length

Specifies the section length for ducts in mm.

Extensions

Specifies the extension for transitions in mm.

Inner radius

Specifies the inner radius for bends in mm.

Length of reducers

Specifies the value suggested in the length field in the dialog box for transitions.

Length swan necks

Specifies the value suggested in the length field in the dialog box for swan necks.

Connector tool tip

Define which information should be displayed when connecting to a component. The duct type, its dimensions and the construction heights of the upper edge and bottom edge of the duct are available for selection. The tooltip appears when the Draw command is active and you place the crosshairs on the connector arrow without clicking.

Distances for storey snap

During vertical construction, you can "snap" the reference edges Upper edge floor and Bottom edge ceiling with an adjustable distance by pressing the Ctrl key. These distances can be determined here.

Tolerance

This value determines the size of the deviation of two duct pieces that are still connected without automatic insertion of a bend when using the Connect command. The graphic display of this duct section is not perfect then, but the bill of quantities is correct.

Passage height

Adjust the height in mm which is to be kept free during the height distance to passage height.

Duct shadow

Specifies whether shadows are created for the ducts in the drawing.
