Depending on the selected calculation method, you can select or download free of charge the meteorological data for your project directly from a list. You can change the designation of the project site for the printout and alter the meteorological data to local conditions if need be.
Meteorological Data for ASHRAE
The meteorological data for the calculation according to ASHRAE are based on the Cooling Design Day, which is simulated continuously for the design day until no more room temperature changes take place and the temperatures are stabilized. You can also create a design day manually.
Supported Formats
In the cooling load calculation according to ASHRAE, you need meteorological data with the file endings *.epw and *.stat. You will receive these files on downloading the meteorological data at https://energyplus.net/weather.
