Connecting Symbols

Shows step-by-step how to connect symbols to pipes in a scheme.

Before you begin

You want to connect symbols to pipes in a scheme.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Disciplines ... ➤ Workflows: Scheme ➤ Construction tab

Procedure

Click on Connect symbol <.
Select the symbol that you want to connect to a pipe and confirm your selection with Enter.

Note: You can select several symbols individually one after the other or as a group with a selection frame.
Select the pipe to which you want to connect the symbol.

Results

The symbol has been connected to the pipe.

Note: The command remains active and you can connect further symbols as required.
