Insert Radiator from List (PRO File)

Shows step-by-step how you can insert radiators from a list of radiators that you have dimensioned with LINEAR Building into your drawing.

Before you begin

You want to insert the radiators that you have dimensioned with LINEAR Building into your drawing based on the PRO file (LINEAR Building project file) using the Radiators dialog.

Requirements:

You have dimensioned radiators in LINEAR Building and saved the corresponding project as a PRO file (LINEAR Building project file).

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Heating ➤ 2D / 3D Floor planning // 2D Scheme planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Symbols / Components

Procedure

  1. Click on the Radiator… button.

    The Radiator dialog opens.

  2. Select the List tab.
  3. Click on the Load... button.
    A file explorer opens in which you can select a PRO file.
  4. Select a PRO file and confirm the selection with OK.

    The radiators stored in the file are listed in the table in the Radiators dialog.

  5. Select one of the radiators from the list and click on the Draw < button.
    The radiator is attached to the crosshairs.
  6. Click to place the radiator on the drawing area and click again to determine the alignment.

    The Radiator dialog opens again and the placed radiator is marked as placed with a check mark in the first column of the list.

  7. Place further radiators from the list by repeating steps 5 and 6.

Results

You have inserted the radiators from a PRO file into your drawing.
