About the Workflow in the LINEAR Control Board
Explains the concept of the workflow in the control board.
The individual tabs of the control board are organized to represent a workflow from left to right - with the exception of the last tab:
You start on the Project tab with the basic project settings and the creation of the required views. Selecting a discipline provides tools in the other tabs that relate to the discipline.
In the second step, switch to the Create tab to design pipe or duct networks and add components such as air diffusers, radiators or pumps to the networks.
In the third step, the finished MEP model can be calculated and completed to the desired level of detail. To do this, switch to the Analyse tab.
The Labeling and Output tab provides you with commands for labeling parts and sections and you can define various settings for the output. In addition, you will also find various export functions and tools for editing component data on the individual command groups of the tab.
The last tab, Tools, provides you with a number of different tools to assist you with editing throughout the workflow. Among other things, you will find functions for creating section views and views, for editing properties, tools that help you edit storeys and layers, and some tools that allow you to query dimensions and statistics of the drawing.
