About the Filter

Explains the concept of the filter function in LINEAR CAD Browser.

In addition to searching for item numbers, manufacturers, short and long texts using the full-text search, you can use the filter function to perform a cross-manufacturer filtering of the installed data sets by the MEPClasses Domain, Function, and Class, allowing you to optimally narrow down products during filtering. Common search combinations can be saved and reuse.

The filter results are displayed in the Catalogs section, where you can conveniently navigate to the desired component. You can insert the the found components into your CAD program using the provided buttons or replace existing components in your model. Use the interactive path above the search results to navigate to the previous level or to all installed manufacturer catalogs.
