The revamped workflow for slot and opening design makes daily work even more efficient and intuitive. With new features like automatic opening suggestions and intelligent labeling tools, you save time and always keep track.

• Automatic opening suggestions directly in the model: Simply define a few parameters like wall thickness or minimum distance to pipes – LINEAR takes care of the rest. Suitable openings are proposed and can be labeled by discipline.
• Smart batch editing: Select multiple openings and edit their properties in one step. A new filter function lets you draw a large selection box and then refine it using LINEAR properties – ideal for large projects.
• Intelligent labeling with one click: Use the labeling functions from the LINEAR Control Board to automatically generate compliant labels. The new placement algorithm analyzes available space and positions the label optimally – no manual adjustments needed.

Avoid planning or construction errors due to outdated documents – with the new QR code functionality for plan status verification. Each plan can now be labeled with a unique QR code linking to an online status page, showing at a glance whether the version is current. After its successful implementation in Revit, this feature is now also available in AutoCAD.

Following the successful introduction of model-based quantity takeoff for ventilation, heating, and cooling systems, this powerful functionality is now also available for the sanitary discipline. Quantities for sanitary systems can now be determined directly from the digital model – VOB-compliant and in accordance with DIN 18381 and DIN 18421.

Thanks to parameter-driven model evaluation and the clear assignment of components to service specifications, this feature enables a seamless transition from system design and detailed planning to tender preparation. The integrated GAEB XML export interface ensures that all results can be transferred directly into your tendering software – efficiently and reliably.

Revit lacks a native data type for date and time, making structured input of time-related information (e.g., maintenance periods or commissioning dates) difficult. The new feature in the LINEAR properties closes this gap, allowing clean, standardized input of time-based data directly within the Revit model – improving data quality and supporting lifecycle-based planning.

• Structured date fields in property sets: Configure LINEAR property sets to accept only valid date formats – including input validation.
• User-friendly calendar selection: Pick date values directly from an integrated calendar – quick, intuitive, and error-free.
• Evaluable time data for handover: Recorded dates can be queried and transferred into downstream processes – such as maintenance planning or lifecycle analysis.

The frame and installation line configurator can now also be used to plan surface-mounted installations. Simply use the checkbox to select whether your frame combination should be displayed as a surface-mounted or flush-mounted variant. Mixed installations within an installation line are also possible. Once created, configurations can be saved, shared with colleagues and reused.
