You want to create a 3D Selection box.

Requirement:

You are in a floor plan view, an area or ceiling plan, or a 3D, building, or section view.

Navigate to

Footer Of The LINEAR Control Board

Project Tab of the LINEAR Control Board In Revit

Procedure

Click 3D selection box.
Use a selection frame to select the elements to be displayed in the 3D section.
Confirm your selection with Enter.

Results

The selected elements are displayed in a 3D view within a selection box.
