About Building Parts
Explains the concept LINEAR-sided of dividing a building into different parts.
By creating building parts, you can organize storeys, auxiliary levels, and views for different building parts. In the dialog Building Parts, you can create building parts and assign the appropriate storeys and, if necessary, auxiliary levels to the building sections. By selecting a building part, you then control the lists of storeys and matching views.
By creating building parts, you define multiple areas of a building to which you can assign different properties, e.g., different storey heights. You can also assign different storeys, auxiliary levels, or views to individual building parts. This also allows you, for example, to control the views of building parts that are not perpendicular to the coordinate system. By selecting a building part, you can then control which floors and views are available.
