Marking Views as Sheet Views

Shows step by step how to mark views as sheet views.

Before you begin

You want to use a view only for display on sheets and mark this view as a sheet view so that you can then filter the list of views by views used in sheets.

Navigate to

Project Tab ➤ Area of suitable views

"Matching Views” Area on the Project Tab of the LINEAR Control Board

Procedure

Depending on the status of the view, perform the following steps:
- Existing views – Add the existing view to a sheet so that the view is automatically marked as a sheet view.
- New views – Perform the following steps:
Click Create view.

The Create new views dialog opens.
Make all desired settings and activate To be Used In Sheets.
Click Create view.

Results

The view has been created, marked as a sheet view, and can be filtered accordingly in the list of views.
