Creating a Custom Material Combination

Shows step-by-step how to create a custom material combination in the Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze .

Before you begin

You want to create a custom material combination that you can assign to the pipes of the project.

Navigate to

Procedure

  1. Under Custom Entries, click in a free row to create a new material combination.
    Two rows are added for the primary and secondary system under Custom Entries.
  2. Enter a name for the material combination in the first added row in the column Name.
  3. In the first row in the Lines/Pipes column, click on to specify the pipe material for the primary system.
    The following context menu appears.

  4. In the context menu, click Select....

    The Pipe Tables dialog opens.

  5. Select the desired Manufacturer and the corresponding System from the drop-down lists.
  6. If necessary, select the desired versions of the system in the table above.
  7. If necessary, deactivate nominal diameters that are not required for sizing by clicking on the checkboxes in the corresponding rows in the Active column of the lower table.
  8. Close the dialog with OK.
  9. Define the raw material for the secondary system in the second row in the same way.
  10. In the first row, click on in the Max. DN column and specify the nominal diameter up to which the primary system is used.
  11. In the Preferred Insulation Level column, specify the desired insulation level for the primary and secondary systems.
  12. Close the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog with OK to save the configurations in the project.

Results

The custom material combination has been created and can be manually assigned.
