Material Data

Explains the concept of material data in the pipe network calculations Heating, Potable Water, Waste Water, Cooling and District Networks.

Predefined material combinations for different applications can be found in the Pipes and Insulations or Pipes and Connection Sets (Discipline District Networks) dialog. For each use case, you can specify the desired material from all available manufacturers. The activated use case is automatically used for material assignment in the drawing during calculation of the pipe network. Furthermore, you can create user-defined use cases with neutral or also with manufacturer material. All use cases can also be assigned manually in the drawing if required. Manually assigned material combinations are not overwritten by the automatic material assignment during the calculation. All assigned materials in the drawing are considered during output and material compilation.

Install an appropriate data set to use manufacturer systems. Manufacturer data sets can be downloaded via the LINEAR Installation Center. Which dimensions are available depends on the selected system.
