Performing a Manual Material Change
Shows step by step how to carry out a manual change of material on the inside of a trench section in Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze .
Before you begin
You want to assign different material to a specific area of a trench section.
Prerequisite
The material combination that you want to assign has already been created in the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog.
Navigate to
Procedure
- In the Trench Sections area, click on
and confirm the message that appears with Yes. - Select the flow pipe of the desired trench section in the drawing. The following query appears:
- Click on Change of Material. The change of material symbol is attached to the cursor.
- Place the change of material symbol at the desired position on the trench section and then align it. The calculation dialog is displayed again.
- Also insert a change of material symbol at the appropriate point in the return pipe of the trench section and then close the calculation dialog with OK.
- Open the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog ()
- Select the row with the desired material combination and click on Assign ...
- In the context menu that appears, select which area is to receive the assignment.
- In the drawing, select flow and, if necessary, return of the section that is to receive the new material assignment and confirm your selection with Enter. Notifications inform you that the material combination has been assigned to trench sections.
- Close the message and then the Pipes and Insulations dialog with OK.
Results
A message with information about the successful assignment is displayed. The visualization can also be used to check the material change.
