Define Connection Sets for Material Combinations
Shows step-by-step how to define connection sets for the primary and secondary system of material combinations in the Rohrnetzberechnung Quartiersnetze.
Before you begin
You want to define connection sets for the primary and secondary system of a material combination.
Prerequisite
The pipe systems for the primary and secondary systems of the material combination have already been defined.
Note: Connection sets are always defined for the currently selected pipe system.
Navigate to
Procedure
- In the first row of the material combination in the Connection Sets column, click on
to define connection sets for the primary system. The context menu Material Options for... opens.
- Click on the desired category or, for ...Node, ...Building Connection to... and ...Valves/Other on the desired subcategory. The corresponding priorities dialog opens.

Note: The three drop-down lists Option 1, Option 2 and Option 3 are only available in the priority dialogs for building connections. - In the priority dialogs for building connections, use the Option 1, Option 2 and Option 3 drop-down lists to specify the appropriate options so that the desired connection sets are listed in the Connection Sets table.
- Prioritize the connection sets in the Connection Sets table by selecting the rows of the corresponding entries and then using the buttons
and 
to define the desired order. - Close the dialog with a click on OK.
- If necessary, repeat the previous steps for other categories in the primary system.
- In the second row of the material combination in the Connection Sets column, click on to define connection sets for the secondary system and carry out the previously performed steps for all desired categories of the secondary system.
- Close the Pipes and Connection Sets dialog with OK.
Results
The connection sets for the primary and secondary system of the material combination have been defined and the corresponding items are also output in the bill of materials.
