Performing a Pipe Run Flip in the Scheme Editor

Shows step by step how to transfer components or entire pipe run structures to the opposite side of selected vertical pipe runs in the Scheme Editor.

Before you begin

You want to transfer specific pipe sections with all components to the opposite side of vertical pipe runs.

Navigate to

Project tabDisciplines ...Workflows: SchemeCreate tabScheme Editor <

Procedure

  1. Click the button to start the Pipe Run Flip function.
  2. Select the area with all its components that you want to move to the opposite side of the risers.
Selection of components to be transferred in the Schema Editor of the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk Revit
  3. Click to select the first vertical pipe to be transferred to the opposite side.
Selection of the first riser in the Scheme Editor of the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk Revit
  4. Click to select the second vertical pipe on the opposite side to which the transfer is to be made.
Note: For schemes with only one vertical pipe, click on another section of the pipe, e.g., the section through another storey. The prerequisite for this is that there are fittings between the storeys so that these sections are also recognized as separate sections. Such schemes can be, for example, wastewater or gas schemes transferred from LINEAR Building.
Selection of the second riser in the Scheme Editor of the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk Revit
Note: The position of the two vertical pipes remains unchanged during transfer. The vertical pipe that is further away from the selected components is used as the mirror axis during transfer.

Results

The pipe section has been transferred to the opposite side of the risers with all connected components.
