Main Menu (Symbol Bar)

The main menu contains basic functions for operating the program. Through the options in the main menu, you can, for example, load and save projects, restore project memory states, Start Building Capture, detect buildings from a room book, create printouts, and access various services.

Menu Items

Menu Item	Description
New Project	Creates a new project.
Open	Opens the file explorer, in which you can select an existing project to open.
Transfer Buildings from CAD	Starts building detection from an open CAD program and creates a new project.
Transfer Building from Room Book	Creates a new project and then opens the Import Room Book dialog, where you can link and import a room book in Excel format.
Save	Saves the currently opened project. When saving for the first time, the Save As dialog is called.
Save As	Opens the Save As dialog where you can specify the directory where a copy of the current project is to be saved.
Export GEG (DÄMMWERK)	Opens the Export to Dämmwerk dialog, in which you export room data for the creation of energy certificates in a format compatible with the DÄMMWERK software.
Print	Opens the Print dialog where you can select which data of the project should be printed. In the Print dialog it is possible to create a printout for the entire project or for the activated structure level.
Services and Help	Under this menu item you will find help and service functions for LINEAR Building.
Restore Project	Opens the Restore Project dialog, in which you can restore old project statuses and save copies of old save statuses. Available project statuses are listed in a tree structure under the storage path of the project.
Close Project	Closes the currently open project.
