Before you begin

You would like to detect a building from CAD in LINEAR Building.

Requirements:

You have opened either Revit, AutoCAD or CADinside with the corresponding building.

Navigate to:

Module Overview

Procedure

Click File ➤ Transfer building from CAD.
Select a template and click OK.

The building is analyzed and transferred to LINEAR Building. The Building data dialog opens.
Check and complete the building data and click OK.

Results

Your building is detected in LINEAR Building and can be used for the requirements analysis.
