Dimensioning/Label

Learn how to label section parts and components in your drawing.

You can label section parts and components automatically or manually, customize labels for this purpose and write information from pipe and duct network calculations to network objects in order to give third parties access to project-relevant data.

There are basically two ways to label the elements in your drawing. In 3D models, you can use the 3D labeling areas to write simple component data or geometric data to components, such as distances, duct diameters, or item data.

From the Pipe and Duct Network Calculation you can Write calculation data to component after a successfully performed calculation. This includes, for example, pressure losses, supply and return temperatures or mass flow rates.

On the following pages you will learn how to use the labeling functions and how to configure the labeling files used for the two labeling types in different ways and adapt them to your needs.
