Creating Building Part and Storey
Shows step-by-step how to create a new building part and the associated storey levels.
Before you begin
You want to create building parts and storeys in order to organize the storeys and views for the individual building parts.
Navigate to
Procedure
- Click Building parts ….
Note: The building part Main Building has already been automatically created and initially contains all levels present in the project. The name of the building part can be customized. - Click in a free line of the table or on Add New Building Part to create a new building part.
- Enter a new name for the new building part and close the dialog by OK.
The new building part is created.
- Click Storey....
The Storey dialog opens. For each building part there is an independent storey table on a separate tab.
- Use the context menu to create the storeys for each building part and enter the desired values for the storeys. Note: If you open the context menu by right-clicking on an existing storey, you can specify, among other things, whether the new storey should be inserted above or below the existing storey.
Results
Two building parts with different storey are created.
