Details on "Disciplines" (Dialog)

Information on the Disciplines dialog.

In this dialog box, you specify which disciplines are displayed in the LINEAR Control Board. You can also customize the names or abbreviations of disciplines and create new disciplines by copying existing ones. Newly created disciplines receive the same system classes and properties as the disciplines from which they were copied.

Name

Specifies the name of the discipline.

Code

The code is an abbreviation of the discipline and is usually used for the name of the system type. The code can be customized.

active

Defines which disciplines are displayed in the LINEAR Control Board.

Context Menu

Right-clicking on a row opens the context menu, which you can use to copy disciplines and delete copies of disciplines.

Load disciplines

Clicking opens the default directory for user-defined customizations in a file selection dialog. This directory contains, among other things, the Disciplines.xml file, which you can use to reset changed configurations of the disciplines to their default values.

Note: When loading the Disciplines.xml file, any copied disciplines may be deleted.

You can also load files with custom discipline configurations in XML format.

Save disciplines

Allows saving the current discipline configuration in XML format.
