Ventilation system domestic ventilation Linear Building

Ventilation Device

In this area you can make settings for the ventilation system of the ventilation zone selected. The settings are based on the manufacturer's selection in the General Settings dialog. LINEAR Building Uses this settings for the dimensioning of the ventilation components of the ventilation zone.

Total target volume flow rate

Shows the total target volume flow rate determined in the ventilation concept.

Intensive ventilation

Shows 130 % of the total target volume flow rate. Intensive ventilation is used to reduce peak loads caused by cooking and washing, for example.

Manufacturer

Shows the selected manufacturer of the ventilation system.

Ignore volume flow limits

Enabled: Also shows ventilation units whose volume flow rate limits are below the determined volume flow.

Disabled: Ventilation units that cannot provide the determined volume flows are not displayed in the list.

Ignore max. external pressure loss

Enabled: Also shows ventilation units whose maximum external pressure loss is below the determined pressure loss of this ventilation zone.

Disabled: Ventilation units whose maximum external pressure loss is below the determined pressure loss are not displayed.

Central unit

Drop-down list for selecting a central device. The list contains manufacturer devices that are compatible with the selected preset.

: Opens the Item Set for Central Device dialog, in which you can select optional accessories for the selected central device.

Max. external pressure loss

Displays the maximum external pressure loss recommended for the selected device.

Operating Unit/Regulation

Group

Drop-down list for selecting the operating group for the central device. One group contains specific sets that can be selected in the next drop-down list.

Set

Drop-down list for selecting the desired set for operating the central device.

: Opens the Item Set for [...] dialog, in which you can view and edit the item set of the selected set.

Selected preset

Displays the preset for the ventilation system you selected in the General Settings dialog.

Pipe material system for outdoor air ducts

Displays the pipe system selected for outdoor air ducts.

: Opens the Item Set for Outside Air Duct dialog, in which you can view and edit the associated item set for the pipe system.

Feed through outdoor air

Displays the selected type of pipe penetration for outdoor air.

Pipe material system for exhaust air ducts

Displays the pipe system selected for exhaust air ducts.

: Opens the Item Set for Outside Air Duct dialog, in which you can view and edit the associated item set for the pipe system.

Feed through Exhaust Air

Displays the selected type of pipe penetration for exhaust air.

Pipe Material System for Collecting Pipes

Displays the pipe system selected for collecting pipes.

Central Distributor

Displays the selected central distributor.

Pipe Material System for Sub-Distribution Ducts

Displays the pipe system selected for sub-distribution ducts.

Sub-Distributor

Displays the selected sub-distributor.

Pipe Material System for Room Supply

Displays the pipe system selected for sub-distribution ducts.

Air Outlet Configurations Supply Air

Displays the selected configurations for the air outlet of the supply air.

Change Configurations

Opens the dialog Ventilation System Settings where you can change the settings for the ventilation system.
