Creating and Configuring Parameters for Property Sets

Shows step by step how to configure user-defined parameters for use in property sets.

Before you begin

You want to create a user-defined parameter so that you can then use it in the property sets.

Navigate to

Module Overview ➤ Room Data Sheet ➤ Property Sets (Toolbar)

Procedure

  1. In the Available Parameters area, click the button Add.

    The Parameter dialog opens.

  2. Enter a name for the parameter in the Name field.
  3. Click the button to the right of the Unit field.

  4. Select a unit for the parameter.

  5. Click OK.

Results

The user-defined parameter is created and is available for use in property sets.

What to do next

Add the parameter to the corresponding property sets using the button Select Parameter button. If necessary, you can then use the corresponding buttons in the Aggregation, Restriction, and Calculation columns in the Selected Parameters area to make further configurations for the parameter values in the corresponding property sets.
