Details on “Value Entry”

Information on the Value Entry dialog in the Room Data Sheet module.

This dialog box allows you to save time when parameterizing your project by assigning fixed values for output parameters to input parameters.
Tip: If necessary, you can create user-defined parameters using the Property Sets dialog and assign them to a property set using the Property Sets dialog. The new parameters are then available for selection in the Value Input dialog.

Input Parameter

Parameter to which a fixed value can be assigned via an output parameter. This can be a numeric or text parameter, such as a floor covering. Multiple parameters can be selected as input parameters. Clicking on opens a context menu from which you can select the parameter(s) from different categories and property sets.

Using Multiple Parameters as Input Parameters

If you select more than one parameter as Input Parameters, these parameters are linked to each other in a logical AND connection. This means that a value for an output parameter can be assigned for all possible combinations of the input parameters.

Output Parameter

Parameter that contains a value for the assignment to the input parameter. This can be a numerical parameter, such as the R-value for a floor covering. Clicking on opens a context menu where you can select the parameter from various categories and property sets. If values for the output parameter with assignment to the input parameter already exist in the room data sheet, these are transferred to the Values for Output Parameter column.

Parameter Table

The table lists the values of the Input Parameter and the Values for the Output Parameter in the columns. Entries can only be made in the Values for Output Parameter column. For values to appear in the table, values must already exist for the Input Parameter in order to assign values for Output Parameters.
