About Property Sets
Explains the concept of property sets in connection with the Room Data Sheet module in LINEAR Building.
In larger projects, the amount of data can quickly become confusing. To organize the data for a project in a clearer and more logical way, the parameters in the Room Data Sheet module can be grouped thematically using Property Sets. The parameters and their values are then displayed in form of a table in the room data sheet views of the property sets and can be edited collectively.
Property sets are designed to logically group planning-specific data for rooms. For example, you can use the Sanitary Data property set to display the number of different tapping points in the room overview. The views of the individual property sets can be selected above the room overview.
Predefined property sets are available, such as Structural Data, Concept - Heating, Concept - Cooling, Concept - Ventilation, etc., which you can customize and expand as needed. You can also compile user-defined property sets. For the new property set, you can then compile the parameters to be displayed in the corresponding room data sheet view and specify which structural configurations the room data sheet views of the property sets contain.
If you need additional parameters that are not available in the list of parameters, you can easily create them or import them from the connected CAD program.
You can also configure different settings for the parameter values in the property sets. Among other things, you can adjust the units, specify restrictions for parameter values, and define formulas for calculating parameter values that refer to other parameters and/or variables you have created yourself.
By adjusting the order of the individual parameters in the property sets, you can control the arrangement of the parameter columns in the corresponding room data sheet views.
