Coordinating Opening Proposals

Shows step by step how to import and display classified opening proposals from an updated BCF file.

Before you begin

The person responsible for the building has classified your void proposals (with Accepted or Rejected) and sent you the void proposals in an updated BCF file. You want to import the updated file and show the results.

Procedure

  1. Activate Restrict to Active View if only the opening proposals of the active view are to be taken into account.
  2. Activate Compare with BCF and, after clicking on , specify the path to the BCF file.
  3. Click OK.
    Note:

If different terminology is used in the BCF file to classify the voids, the Assign Unknown Statuses dialog opens, where you can instruct the program how to interpret the unknown statuses.

Results

The classified openings change color depending on their classification, and their status is visible in the LINEAR properties. If accepted void proposals shall be displayed as void forms in the architecture, a comparison with a correspondingly updated architecture must be carried out.
