About the Assignment of Internal Loads

Explains the concept of the assignment of internal loads.

If you have entered a building from CAD and have already defined loads entered in the CAD-side entry options, such loads are assigned to the respective rooms in LINEAR Building as individual loads. In such a case, if several rooms have been assigned an identical internal load, the individual loads can be combined into a group load and assigned to the corresponding rooms.

If you do not have any recorded internal loads in your project or manually depict a project in Building, you can directly create group loads in the Cross-room load assignment dialog and then assign them to previously defined room groups or to a manual selection of rooms.
