General Settings

Explains the concept for general settings in the Pipe and Duct Network Calculation Ventilation.

Before you start calculating the pipe network after the design, you should make the settings relevant to the calculation in order to achieve realistic results as quickly as possible.

Check the settings for the layers to be included in the detection and decide whether the entire network or only parts of it should be included in the calculation. For example, to correctly determine air pressures, enter the geographical altitude of the project, adjust the average temperature and humidity of the outside air, and specify dimensioning specifications.

The parameters in the settings are usually preset with appropriate values, which you can adjust to the requirements of your project if necessary.
