Procedure

  1. In the Component Detection area, decide whether Modeled Dimensions should be transferred during detection, not transferred, or only transferred for a selection.
  2. In the Calculation Presettings section, enter the Elevation above Sea Level for your project to determine the correct air pressure and thus the density of the medium.
  3. Check and correct the values for the Outdoor air if necessary.
  4. Under Dimensioning Presettings, specify whether dimensioning should be based on maximum speed and/or maximum pipe friction loss specifications and adjust the corresponding values if necessary.
  5. In the Zeta Values section, specify how the zeta values are determined.
  6. Deactivate the option Detect Material with every Calculation if, for example, you have a large project and want to reduce the calculation time.

Results

The basic settings for the calculation have been made and are now taken into account during the calculation.
