Drawing a Steel Staircase

Shows step-by-step how to draw a steel staircase.

Before you begin

You want to draw a steel staircase.

Note: Pay attention to the set construction height before you draw in the stairs.

Requirements:

First, make the settings for the grid of the grating and the dimensions of the handrail and its struts in the steel construction specifications.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Architecture ➤ Planning type 3D - Model planning / 2.5D - Model planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Steel construction

Procedure

  1. If necessary, click the triangle next to the Steel stairs < button.

    The section Steel stairs opens.

  2. Enter the dimensions in the fields.
  3. Click the button Steel stair <.
    The stair now appears at the tip of the cursor and you can insert it at the top of the platform.
  4. Select an insertion point using the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard.
  5. Enter the rotation for the stair and press Enter.

Results

The stair will be drawn.

Note: Multi-flight stairs can be drawn by inserting an additional grating platform as an intermediate landing. From this platform, draw the rest of the stairs.
