Drawing a Chimney

Before you begin

You want to add a chimney to a drawing.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Architecture ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Walls, Ceilings, Columns

Procedure

If necessary, click the triangle next to the button Chimney < to open the section.
Enter the dimensions for the width, depth and sill of chimney, or pick the respective dimension from the drawing using the button .
Click the button Chimney <.
Select the wall where you want to place the chimney.

Note: Right-click in the drawing to open a context menu where you can select the option In front of wall or Freely for the placement of the chimney.
Insert the chimney into the drawing with one click.
Determine the orientation of the chimney and place it with another click.

Results

The fireplace has been drawn in.
