Place Scheme from LINEAR Building in Revit

Shows step-by-step how to place a scheme from LINEAR Building in Revit.

Before you begin

You have created a scheme and want to place it in a connected CAD program.

Requirements:

  • LINEAR Building is connected to a CAD program.
  • The scheme has been calculated.

Navigate to

Module OverviewDiscipline [Scheme]

Applies to the scheme modules.

Procedure

  1. Click on Draw in the toolbar.
  2. Select the desired labeling option in the context menu.
Note: For gas schemes, Revit-labels are used in LINEAR instead of Revit-labels.
Revit is activated, a new drafting view is created and the scheme is placed.

Results

The scheme has been placed with the selected label in Revit and can be edited further if required. To do this, use the tools at the bottom of the tab Design: Scheme or the function Scheme Editor of the same tab.
