Setting Technical Data

Shows step-by-step how to set technical data for components.

Before you begin

The Rohr- und Kanalnetzberechnungs contain technical data for all components, pipes and ducts, which you can adjust and which serve as the basis for the calculation.

Note:

As an alternative to the procedure described below, you can also find the technical data for a selected component in the LINEAR Properties. You can also make the desired adjustments for a multiple selection directly in the Properties; the changes are taken into account in the calculation.

Navigate to

Project tab ➤ Discipline ➤ Planning Type ➤ Analyse Tab ➤ Command Group Analyse

Applies to: Heating, Potable Water, Wastewater, Ventilation, Cooling, Gas, Roof Drainage and District Networks.

Command group Analyse of the Analyse tab in the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk AutoCAD

Procedure

Open the Components section, if necessary.
Click on Technical Data ….
Select the component, whose technical data you want to set.

The dialog about the technical data opens. The technical data vary depending on the selected component type.
Make the desired settings and confirm your entries with OK.
If necessary, click another component to set its technical data.
Finish the process by Esc.

Results

The technical data of the selected components are set and saved in the project.
