Details on "Medium"
Information about the dialog Fluid in the Rohr- und Kanalnetzberechnung of the disciplines Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, and District Networks.
In this dialog box, you can select a medium by choosing the corresponding MDD file, adjust the material properties of the selected medium, or define your own media.
Select a fluid from an MDD file or enter the material values for your own fluid.

Name
The name of the medium can be entered freely and is independent of the file name of the loaded media file. It is displayed in the output in the calculation parameters.

| rho | Density of the substance at the given temperature. |
| cp | Specific heat capacity of the substance. |
| ny | Viscosity of the substance. |
External Fluid File
If you have entered own thermophysical properties, the table can be saved and loaded as an external file using the Load ... and Save ... functions. If a file is loaded, the medium data are also saved in the project to make sure that the values are available for all participants without exchanging the medium file.
