Setting Layers for Network Detection

Shows step-by-step how to select layers that should be considered in the detection.

Before you begin

You want to check which layers are taken into account when detecting the pipe/duct network and adjust them if necessary.

Tip: If the pipe or sewer network has been drawn with LINEAR Solutions, the layer are already set correctly.

  2. In the Layers area, click on the corresponding category or the desired fluid to open the dialog Select Layer <...>.
  3. You can either
    • Activate all desired layers individually with a click, or
    • carry out an automatic assignment by clicking on .
Note: If you are working with the LINEAR layer management and have not made any user-defined adjustments, the automatic layer selection will usually lead to the desired results.
  4. Confirm your selection by clicking OK and repeat the steps for the remaining fluid or categories if necessary.

Results
