Details on "Edit Pipe Sections"

The dialog allows you to influence the calculation by individually adjusting calculated data or max. values for pipe sections. Results in the calculation dialog that change due to adjustments in the Edit Pipe Sections dialog are displayed in bold in the calculation dialog.

Settings

Length, Height Difference

The values are taken from the drawing. You can change the values here if necessary. Clicking resets the values to the drawn dimensions.

Pipe Bends 90°, Pipe Bends 45°

designed: Shows the amount of constructed bends in this pipe section.

additional: Enter the amount of bends that are to be given out as additional material in the material list.

Constant Pressure Loss

Enter an additional pressure loss for this pipe/duct section or for this trench section.

Ambient Temperature

The ambient temperature is taken from the Settings and can be adjusted for each pipe/duct or trench section. Clicking resets the value to the value from the Settings.

Maximum Values (Local)

R-Value

If you want to assign a different maximum pipe friction pressure loss to this pipe/duct section or trench section, enter the value here. When entering 0, the maximum value from the global settings of the Basic Conditions dialog is used.

Velocity

If you want to assign a different maximum velocity to this pipe/duct or trench section, enter the value here. When entering 0, the maximum value from the global settings of the Basic Conditions dialog is used.

Diversity

Enter the diversity for this pipe/duct or trench section. The diversity is automatically assigned to the supply and return pipes.

Reset

Resets all entries to the designed value off the drawing.
